Abstract	This document was written for junior and senior high school students to help them learn to cope more effectively with their problems. It is intended as a quide for helping adolescents explore and solve problems through constructive critical thinking. Ten steps in the process of constructive critical thinking are presented with personal and social examples and activities. These 10 steps are: (1) clarifying goals; (2) obtaining information; (3) identifying problems; (4) asking questions; (5) searching for answers; (6) predicting consequences; (7) making a plan; (8) practicing solutions; (9) evaluating results; and (10) noting progress. Common personal problems of young people are presented for critical analysis and discussion. Then, examples of how some famous persons dealt with different problems and concerns are described to offer the reader further challenges for exploring constructive critical thinking. Suggestions for practical applications of constructive critical thinking in real life situations are listed. This guide begins with a short pretest and concludes with a posttest on constructive critical thinking. (NB)
