Abstract	Begun in 1965, the Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) has focused on the needs of migrant farmworkers and their children. RCMA considers the fields of education, health, and housing as the areas of greatest impact upon migrant children. In its major role as a catalyst, RCMA has worked with various individuals with common objectives of seeking advances for migrant children in areas of child care, child development, education, health services, and housing. Among these individuals are Florida Farm Bureau Federation's Director of Public Affairs, United Migrants Association's Executive Director, Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association's Executive Vice President, and the State Governor. Based largely upon the unity expressed by these individuals, concrete decisions have been made by state government bodies and agencies in areas such as child services planning for farmworker assistance. Focusing on RCMA's objectives, efforts, and achievements, this report discusses the need for dropout prevention among migrant children in Florida schools, the Migrant Head Start centers, RCMA Title XX child centers, the Migrant Early Childhood Program, RCMA staffing policy, migrant health programs, Ford Foundation Program, East Coast Special Effort Program for handicapped children, and housing for farmworkers.
