Abstract | A teacher's guide and student and teacher workbooks for the first level of a multi-level instructional program for teaching Spanish as a second language to children whose native language is English are presented. Each level of the complete program contains a teacher's manual, a teacher's workbook and vocabulary picture book, a student's workbook, class and individual profile cards, and a testing packet. The teacher's manual provides objectives, vocabulary, language patterns and structures, reinforcement activities, workbook page references, communication activities, a list of supplementary materials, and story lessons. The teacher's workbook provides vocabulary pictures for use with the lessons. The student workbook contains vocabulary pictures to be duplicated for student use. (RW) |
