Abstract | This publication, one of four academic courses developed for the Vocational Education for Special Students (VESS) program, is designed to serve those handicapped or disadvantaged students who need an alternative form of an academic curriculum to complete their local high school programs. The course is to be taught in cooperation with a local community college. This applied American government curriculum is designed to be offered on an individual basis. It includes a description of the course organization, course outline, and 39 course objectives. For each objective, tasks, learning activities, and resources are listed, along with space for the instructor/work experience leader to evaluate the students. Bibliographies for students and teachers complete the package. (KC) |
