Abstract | This section on job-related instruction is one of three that comprise a program entitled Related Instruction for Cooperative Part-Time Training. (Other sections are Personal Development and Basic Life Skills.) It contains nine instructional units. Each unit includes the following basic components: unit and specific objectives, notes to the coordinator (outline of steps to follow to accomplish objectives), answers to assignment sheets and tests, information sheets that provide content essential for meeting the cognitive objectives of the program, transparency masters, assignment sheets, and tests. A unit is planned to cover more than one lesson or period of instruction. Units included in this section are Orientation, Job Application and Interview, Safety, Employer-Employee Relations, Getting Along With Co-Workers, Salaries: Where Do They Go, Changing Jobs and Resignations, Labor Unions, and Free Enterprise.
