Abstract | This teacher's manual accompanies the six curriculum guides for the six levels (I-VI) in the Guam Community College English as a Second Language (ESL) project series (see note). A structural outline for the ESL project is first presented that discusses the lessons, levels, tests, materials, vocabulary, and scope and sequence. Next are described the Peabody kits around which the project centers, namely Peabody kits P, Level P, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and the Articulation Kit. The ESL vocabulary is then provided for all levels (I-IV) with the level and lesson indicated in which the word is first presented. The second half of the manual outlines the scope and sequence of each of the levels. For each level this information is given: vocabulary by part of speech and lesson with objective and the sentence, sound, or printing structure studies. (YLB) |
