| Abstract | In this report are described projects and activities undertaken by ACTION's volunteer programs in 1973. After an introduction that notes accomplishments of the past year, a review of International Operations gives an account of Peace Corps activities in Africa, North Africa, Near East, Asia, the Pacific, and Latin America. The next section reviews domestic operations and describes such programs as VISTA, University Year for ACTION, National Student Volunteer Program, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Service Corps of Retired Executives, and the Active Corps of Executives according to 10 regions of the country. New modes of volunteer service to solve various social problems that were developed by the Office of Policy and Program Development are then described. A financial statement is also provided. (YLB) |
