| Abstract | This directory of audiovisuals available in Europe lists 45 agencies from 16 countries and the types of material about which they can provide information by subject area, media, audience, and language. Agency names and titles of catalogs are presented in the native language of the country, with descriptive material in English, with the exception of French speaking sources, for which the entries are entirely in French. The materials cover the range of student audiences from preschool to adult, and include films, videorecordings, photographs, slides, filmstrips, overhead projector transparencies, and sound recordings. The name, address, and phone number of each national information agency listed is provided and a Curriculum Subject Index and a Student Audience Index provide additional access points to the main listing. Both English and French versions of the introductions, notes on the use of the directory, and the two indexes are included. (MER) |
