| Abstract | This document presents a series of vignettes (or mini-case studies) which describe specific media-related activities which have been implemented with primary, intermediate, and junior high school students. The vignettes are, for the most part, presented in the teachers' own words, and provide ideas for using both print and nonprint materials to create lively, interesting lessons. The activities included fall into using media to: (1) develop creative thinking, (2) conduct research, (3) work in groups, (4) improve skills, (5) deal with attitudes and values, and (6) design curricula using a systems approach.
