| Abstract | This three-part report provides data on the number, sex, and program interest of the applicants to Kapiolani Community College (KCC), and similar data for the applicants who were accepted and the students who actually registered at the college for each Fall semester, 1975 through 1980. The first section provides introductory material on the purposes and sources of data for the report. The second section presents tables and text detailing: (1) the number of applicants; (2) the rate of acceptances to applications; (3) the rate of registrations to acceptances; (4) the "going rates" of Hawaii high school graduates entering KCC; and (5) the proportions of KCC transfers from the University of Hawaii's various campuses, the Hawaii community colleges, other Hawaii institutions, and out-of-state institutions. The final section compares Fall 1980 and Fall 1975 entering groups in these areas. Appendix A details applications, acceptances, and registration data for each college program for the years 1975 through 1980, and Appendix B indicates the number of graduates from each Oahu public high school and the number of these graduates who enrolled at KCC for the same years.
