Abstract	The tables in this report address the issue of surplus school space in Ontario by showing, for each school board, the number of schools and the corresponding enrollment by percent occupancy for three levels of "loading," 100 percent, 90 percent, and 80 percent. The rated capacity of a school is determined by the Ministry of Education by allocating a specific number of pupil places to each type of classroom in a school. The total number of pupil places available in a school is termed the rated capacity of the school at 100 percent loading. The percent occupancy of a school with a rated capacity of 400 pupil places and an enrollment of 200 pupils would be 50 percent. (Author/MLF)
