Abstract | This is the third of eight volumes consisting of series of publications of the Center for the Study of Liberal Education for Adults (CSLEA), such as Notes and Essays, Research Reports, Occasional Papers, and Conference Reports. These materials provide both theory and practice in the area of non-credit adult liberal education offered by colleges and universities. This volume contains numbers 49, 52, 53, and 54 in the series, Notes and Essays on Education for Adults, 1965-67. Titles include (1) Toward a Homeodynamic Society, (2) Speaking for Myself: A Humanist Approach to Adult Education for a Technical Age (11 essays), (3) Political Backgrounds of Adult Education (6 conference papers), and (4) The Continuing Task: Reflections on Purpose in Higher Continuing Education (4 papers).
