Abstract	This trainer's guide is designed for day care center directors and others responsible for teacher training and parent education who wish to develop and present workshops based on the manual "Art - A Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood." The guide is divided into two parts. Part One provides basic background information for an art program, and topic headings coincide with those in the Art Curriculum Manual. Part Two presents practical ideas for five types of art activities: printing, painting, collage and assemblage, weaving and stichery, and puppets. Each of the chapters focusing on art activities (Chapters Five through Nine) are further subdivided to facilitate workshop presentations. Subheadings in each of these chapters are Preparation for the Workshop, Introducing the Workshop, Activities and the Trainer's role, and Ending the Workshop. A handout depicting sample floor plans for room arrangement is appended. (Author/RH)
