| Abstract | This report contains a consultant's observations on the state of documentation centers and academic libraries in Iraq at the time of his visit in late 1976, as well as his recommendations for their development. Discussions of the libraries under the jurisdictions of the universities of Mosul and Baghdad include their backgrounds, organizational structures, and services. Also examined are the seven documentation centers under the aegis of Iraq's Foundation of Scientific Research, the Ministry of Planning Library, and the Specialized Institute for Engineering Studies. |
