| Abstract | Results of the 1979-80 Administrative Compensation Survey Report conducted by the College and University Personnel Association are presented. The survey is based on 1,383 responses and covers 77 positions. Salary data are indicated for the median and interquartile range for each position. Data are provided by type of institution, by size of institution as indicated by enrollment, by size of institutional budget, and by region. Tables also summarize the apparent relative worth attributed to positions by national rates of pay. These tables translate the median salary for each position into a percentage of the chief executive officer's median salary. A frequency distribution of all salaries reported for each position is included, which also shows the average of these salaries for each position. A sample survey form and instructions and summary position descriptions are appended. (SW) |
