AbstractBased on audited financial statements submitted by each of the colleges and on plant and capital data provided by the New Jersey Department of Higher Education Office of Facilities Planning and Construction, this report summarizes Fiscal Year 1979 financial data for the county colleges of New Jersey. The report first presents a composite profile of the college's revenues and expenditures, and then analyzes: (1) current revenue from state aid, county appropriations, tuition and fees, and miscellaneous sources; (2) enrollments and educational costs per full-time equivalent student; (3) educational and general expenditures; and (4) fixed assets and capital data. Next, 42 data tables are presented, summarizing sources of unrestricted revenue; changes in state, county, and tuition support since 1977; costs per full-time equivalent student; enrollment data; educational and general expenditures; plant operation and maintenance expenditures; fixed assets at cost; state appropriated plant funds; capital authorizations to date; and revenues and expenditures of each of the state's 18 colleges. The report is accompanied by a letter of transmittal from the Chancellor of the Department of Higher Education outlining significant trends in the data. (JP)
