AbstractThis six-part report summarizes, using over 30 graphs and charts, fiscal and enrollment data on the 13 Arizona community college districts for fiscal year (FY) 1978-79. Part I identifies the members of the State Board of Directors for the Community Colleges of Arizona, presents the Board's statement of philosophy, and delineates the Board's expenditures for FY 1978-79. Part II contains a directory identifying the individual colleges within each district. Part III provides financial data, including information related to the source and disposition of funds, current operating expenditures, state aid income, and bonded indebtedness. Part IV presents enrollment data, detailing: (1) the full-time student equivalent history for each district from 1963 through 1979, (2) student demographic characteristics for Fall 1978 and Spring 1979, (3) college staffing profiles, and (4) enrollment by program area. Part V identifies the credit and non-credit vocational offerings in each district, details the allotment of federal vocational funds to the districts, and describes three vocational education projects completed during the fiscal year to improve cooperative education, revise the fire science education curriculum and revise the criminal justice curriculum. Part VI concludes the report with an historical overview of enrollment and fiscal trends. (JP)
