| Abstract | The kit contains a facilitator's guide, a self instructional manual, a filmstrip, audio cassette, and transparency and handout masters for training regular or special educators (or others working with exceptional children and youth) to design and implement career education programs for their exceptional students. After introductory material, the facilitator's guide describes the purposes, content, and alternative uses of the filmstrip (and accompanying audio cassette), the self instructional manual, and the facilitator's guide. Followup activities to accompany each of the three sections of the self instructional manual are provided. Pre- and posttest materials for each of the manual sections are appended. The three main sections of the self instructional manual are: the fundamentals of career education, career education for exceptional individuals, and implementing career education for exceptional individuals. Activities designed to aid understanding are provided in each of the sections. (PHR) |
