| Abstract | This issue, number 40 in the series, is divided into two sections: (1) science activities in Britain, and (2) overseas and international activities. Presented in a newsletter format, numerous topics of interest to secondary school science and mathematics educators pertaining to British education are presented. Included are announcements for conferences and meetings in 1980, information about new textbooks, descriptions of courses offered for teachers in England and overseas, and evaluations of current science and mathematics projects. The overseas/international section is devoted to news items from the Caribbean, Africa, and Nicaragua. Reports on several Unesco projects, international conference reports, and announcements are also included. (CS) |
