Abstract	Proceedings of the 1977 annual Pacific Northwest Conference on Higher Education meeting in conjunction with the Academic Affairs Administrators of the Northwest Region are presented. Among the conference presentations were the following: an address of instructional development and other academic services by Kenneth Eble and a panel discussion on this topic; a panel discussion on developments and directions concerning a northwest consortium on instructional development; a brief overview on financial prospects and educational program offerings by Ernest Hartung; an address on the experience of Portland Community College by Amo De Bernadis; a panel discussion on educational need areas in higher education; a videotape presentation on the Oregon Lifelong Learning Project by Valerie McIntyre; an address on prospects for the future by William Sullivan; and the business session of the Pacific Northwest Conference on Higher Education.
