Abstract | This teachers' manual outlines the design, development, and evaluation processes for Learning Activities Packages (LAPS), including mediated learning activities. A lesson plan for the first day's instruction is provided, as well as a 20-item pre-post test. Each LAP has five components: concept, rationale, objectives, preassessment, activities, and evaluation. Each of these components is outlined and guidelines are provided for writing instructional objectives and performing student assessments and course evaluations. Specific activities described are scripting, storyboarding, slide production, lettering techniques, transparency development, laminating, dry press mounting, audiotape production, and display board design and layout.
