Abstract | Issue four of the fifth volume of "Investigations in Science Education" contains six reports of research articles related to instruction and four individual studies. The individual studies concern correlates of choice for educational opportunities for high school students, the use of a structured interview technique to assess children's concepts, preservice students' perceptions of the credibility of their science methods course instructors, and factors influencing student achievement in high school biology. Each abstract, written by a science educator, includes bibliographical data, research design and procedure, purpose, research rationale, and the abstractor's analysis of the research. (PB) |
