Abstract	This report presents the results of a survey of innovative foreign language curricula in U.S. colleges and universities undertaken in 1974-75 by the Modern Language Association. The survey results published comprise three sections: (1) seventy-seven detailed curriculum reports including topics that are career-related, community-related, interdisciplinary (interdepartmental), interdisciplimary (departmental), and non-traditional; (2) a catalog giving questionnaire data for each of nearly 1,700 qualifying survey entries; and (3) an index of institutions. The survey attempts to ascertain the nature of curricular changes being undertaken in the wake of declining enrollments and the disappearance of many traditional reasons for foreign language study. This publication is intended to familiarize users with a range of courses and programs and the institutions in which they are being offered. From the catalog, an instructor can assess what is being done in other colleges and universities and can then contact directly the individuals in those institutions who might be of help in developing and evaluating foreign language curricula.
