AbstractThis bibliography is divided into three sections. The first section represents a search of Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), with ED or EJ number, as appropriate, given for each item; the second section represents materials currently held by the Clearinghouse of Resources for Educators of Adults at Syracuse University; the third section represents materials found in the Syracuse University library or most college and university libraries. The latter are recorded with Library of Congress numbers for ease in retrieval. Also, basic publication information is given in each section. Throughout, materials have been categorized alphabetically by title under the following subject headings: accreditation (continuing education unit, special degrees, credits, and certification), administration (management), agencies (organizations and sponsors), communications (dissemination), comparative (international), counseling (personnel and tests), evaluation, foundations (definitions, assumptions, rights, freedoms, philosophy, and theories), futures (planning), history, instruction (methods, materials, facilities, and equipment), learning (psychology and motivation), legislation (policy), lifelong learning (lifelong education and education permanente), programs, program development (needs and objectives), public relations (promotion and marketing), research (problem solving), resources (publications), students (adults, learners, and characteristics), teachers (faculty, program administrators, and staff), and trends.
