Abstract | The Response to Educational Needs Project (RENP) is a compensatory education program being carried out in Washington, D.C. This document consists primarily of statistical and program description data on the effects of RENP in the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). The data include: (1) a summary of RENP costs; (2) statistical information on the effectiveness of RENP and non RENP programs; (3) a summary of non RENP costs; (4) a description of the cost methodology used in program cost effectiveness evaluation; and (5) information on sample and data collection.
