Abstract	An effective and scientifically-based teaching methodology for use in higher education is proposed. Clinical theory and clinical practice are applied directly into the sphere of higher educational theory and methodology. Findings from the field of clinical psychology have been translated into appropriate and specific methodologies in the field of higher education. This is based partly on the rationale that education, especially higher education, in order to be effective, must result in self-revelation, understanding, and personality growth. These same gaols, self-revelations, understandings, and positive personality growth also constitute the mandate of the clinical psychologist working in a clinical or therapeutic setting. (Author/LBH)
