Abstract	Resource materials, research documents, and developments related to the socioeconomic and social aspects of rural youth both in the US and internationally are cited in this bibliography of ERIC documents (including such subjects as status projections, mental health, occupations, dropouts, ethnicity, abortion, delinquency, education, environmental influences, school attendance, parent-child relationships, and expectations). One of a series on selected topics, the bibliography is intended as a comprehensive guide for school administrators, teachers, researchers, informational specialists, professional organizations, and students. The 80 citations, with publication dates from 1960 to 1976, are listed in numerical order according to their ERIC accession numbers. They are taken from"Resources in Education" (RIE), a monthly publication containing abstracts of research, research-related reports, and resource materials in education, and from "Current Index to Journals in Education" (CIJE), a monthly index to more than 700 journals, quarterlies, annuals, and yearbooks. All RIE citations include document resumes; CIJE citations, listed separately, contain brief notations on content when the article is not adequately described by title, descriptors, or identifiers.
