| Abstract | This article presents an example of a university College of Education faculty becoming involved with the school society which it serves. The results of a needs assessment, conducted by inservice teacher education directors in six districts in Florida, showed a need for workshops on curricular innovations, particularly individualized instruction. In response to this need, workshops were developed emphasizing humanization and individualization in the classroom environment. Workshop procedures are described and evaluative information relating to participants' attitudes and opinions is included. (Author/STS) |
