Abstract | The directory in two volumes provides data in tabular form on 5,624 active and 252 planned health occupations education programs in junior and senior colleges in the United States as of October 1975. This edition emphasizes historical enrollment and graduation data. Volume 1 presents data by institution name, and volume 2 provides summary data for the individual states. Among the data in volume 1 are: organizational location, program title and occupational title, award conferred, program length and age, prerequisites, number of applicants, enrollments by level in the program, and actual and projected graduates. Volume 2 cites regional and national totals for different program types, full- and part-time enrollments, past and projected graduates, and factors preventing program expansion and causing program constraints.
