| Abstract | This bibliography lists and describes published and unpublished material relating to mass communications in Hong Kong and Macao, from 1945 to 1973. Most of the items listed are written in Chinese; a limited number are in English. Part one, which deals with Hong Kong, lists 115 items divided into 18 sections: bibliography and reference material; communication theory and research methods; communication (general); newspapers; print media; broadcast media; film; audiovisual media; traditional media; laws of mass communication; communication in development; communication teaching and training; mass media in formal education; advertising, marketing, public relations, and management; government communication; social contexts of the media; communication technology; and mass communication periodicals. Part two lists seven items dealing with Macao. An author/title index is included. (GW) |
