Abstract | This document is a module designed for use in preservice or inservice teacher education which deals with the rationale and activities necessary for effectively using paraprofessionals in elementary school classrooms. The document consists of a statement of terminal and enabling objectives, pretest, and four selected reading materials on the use of paraprofessionals in the classroom, elements of individualized instruction, and the involvement of parents in early childhood education.
