Abstract | Providing information for simulation activity, the materials in this document are intended to help train administrators in the utilization of a set of reporting/planning forms developed as a statewide model for local school district use in vocational education planning and development in Ohio. The information is presented in three parts: state information, information concerning school district "C" (a set of data based on a hypothetical school district), and information concerning the joint vocational school in district "C". The state information section provides data concerning vocational education standards, costs per pupil in average daily membership, equipment and depreciation costs, space requirements, and environmental assumptions. School district "C" information section provides hypothetical data, e.g., high school and adult vocational enrollments; labor demands; school district population; percentage of graduates actually entering baccalaureate or associate degree programs; vocational choice inventory; and follow-up of students. The joint vocational school information section provides data on high school and adult vocational enrollments, costs per pupil in average daily membership, and follow-up of students. (Simulated sets of data based on an individual school district and a contract district are included in two companion documents, CE 014 094 and CE 014 095. Copies of the forms are included in the report of the model plan's development (CE 013 048), and detailed instructions for their use are in CE 014 093. (BM) |
