| Abstract | Part of a system by which local education agency (LEA) personnel may evaluate secondary and postsecondary vocational education programs, this first of eight components focuses on organization of the evaluation plan. As in each of the other components, methods and procedures are suggested that the LEA may adopt or modify when developing a system unique to its specific evaluation needs. Emphasis is placed on the roles of the local education agency administration and evaluation team. Procedures covered include selection of a local coordinator, defining the purpose and scope of the evaluation, establishing the evaluation team, selecting the name members of the team, conducting the evaluation, and the report. Appendixes contain example purpose statements, a sample calendar of events for the evaluation, and a brief bibliography and glossary.
