| Abstract | Intended for use with the vocational education student interested in technical drawing, this guide provides answers to questions relating to dimensioning and tolerancing machine drawings. It also gives examples of standard dimensioning practices, tolerancing applications, and finish applications. The problems and examples presented are based on the most commonly accepted practices in industry and their applications. Content is divided into ten units, titled as follows: Measurement; Dimensioning--Size, Shape, Location; Dimensioning Systems; Production Processes; Sequence of Operations; Machine Finishes; Finish Marks; Tolerance; and Tolerance Applications.
