Abstract	A random selection of 37 community college administrators and 31 community school administrators were surveyed to determine the scope of cooperation and coordination between community colleges and community schools in Florida community college districts. Demographic items revealed that both groups were similar--75-85% male, 86-93% married, and both had comparable educational levels, age, years of professional experience, and years in their present position. Statistically significant differences in the role perceptions of the two groups were found to exist in the areas of program organization, administration, finance, and instruction. Both groups agreed on the following: (1) cooperation and coordination between community colleges and community schools is needed; (2) cooperative efforts would save tax dollars; (3) cooperative programs should be identified to serve as case studies; (4) gaps exist in meeting community educational needs; (5) community schools should be as flexible as possible; (6) community colleges should offer a variety of credit and non-credit courses; and (7) the level of community needs is high enough that little or no duplication of educational services exists.
