| Abstract | The concepts and methodologies outlined in "A Policy Information System for Vocational Education" are presented in a simple computer format in this booklet. It also contains a sample output representing 5-year projections of various planning needs for vocational education. Computerized figures in the eight areas corresponding to those in the Policy Information System (total district enrollment, student interest, labor market demand, program enrollment, instructional staff needs, instructional staff costs, capital outlay, and consumable costs) are shown, and diverse elements of vocational education requiring further postgraduate research are presented in skeletal form. Various methods for making projections are presented and explained in detail in the sample outputs. (BL) |
