| Abstract | This document is the initial description of the specifications of the philosophies, procedures, and processes for secondary schools to use in planning, implementing, and managing Individually Guided Education (IGE) learning programs. This is specified in a target format. Also delineated is the general and specific developmental strategy the IGE/Secondary Project will use to create examples of varied approaches to individualized learning programs. This activity centers around identifying school-specific practices and building support systems that enable schools to become independent of the direct involvement of outside consultants. The developmental effort and implementation processes are based on the theoretical concepts and research of Dr. Gerald R. Nadler, professor of industrial engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
