| Abstract | This final report of the Work Group on Education and Training of the United States National Committee for the International Hydrological Decade presents an overview of the educational needs in the United States and its educational and training involvement with other countries regarding hydrological and water resources technology. Contained are conclusions and recommendations regarding education at university and pre-university levels, continuing education and technology transfer programs, international activities, education and manpower assessments, and institutional needs. Each of these areas is discussed in detail. (CS) |
