| Abstract | This report contains information about the legislative and regulatory framework for Section 131 (a) of part C of the U.S. Commissioner of Education's Vocational Education Research Programs; the planning and its procedures leading to the determination of the program priority areas for fiscal year 1976 and the transition quarter; the processes used to implement the award program for this fiscal year; the award outcomes in terms of an overview of the purposes and expected results of the funded projects; and abstracts of the individual projects. In addition, several special interest projects of national significance are listed both for fiscal year 1976 and the transition quarter. Synthesis papers and abstracts of funded projects in competitive grant competition are grouped under the areas of adult vocational education, postsecondary vocational education, individualization and modularization of instructional materials, and special needs populations.
