| Abstract | This booklet presents the proceedings of an international symposium held at Madrid, Spain, September 6-7, 1975, to discuss the present state and future prospects of educational technology as it affects the teaching of chemistry. Ten papers and reports from 20 countries are included, with topics including: the potentialities of new educational technology, development of educational technology tools for teaching chemistry, factors affecting the selection of teaching techniques, programmed learning, computer-assisted instruction in chemistry and problems and challenges in developing countries.
