Abstract	Accountability was the keynote address at the second series of inservice clinics sponsored by the Arizona State Department of Education, Division of Career and Vocational Education. Two hundred and five persons attended the two-day clinics, with 90 attending the followup sessions. The overall objective was to have participants develop plans for evaluating occupational education in their respective situations. Program topics included; evaluation as a decision-making process, evaluation at the local level, the monitoring process, and the communications process. Participants were given a pretest and post-test to assess their knowledge of evaluation for occupational education and were assigned the task of formulating evaluation plans. At the end of the clinics, 60% of the participants did submit plans. Of those attending the followup clinic, over 60% submitted plans. Results of the pretest and post-test showed improvement in most areas of evaluation. The clinics were successful in achieving their goals, and recommendations for future clinics were submitted. Appendixes to the report include an outline of evaluation processes, example of a monitoring report, the pretest and post-test given to participants, the program format, and representative evaluation plans.
