| Abstract | These career path training modules were developed by nursing educators. The authors state, however, that the section on prerequisite criteria for objective writers can be used to teach teachers how to develop independent study packages. In this section, 10 rules for writing objectives are presented, each of which is followed by a question with a multiple choice answer. There are five nursing modules in the set. The titles of the modules are nursing diagnosis, nursing care plan, accurate preparation and administration of drugs, nursing assessment of an adult patient with a medical-surgical problem, and developing verbal communication. Each module contains the following four parts: (1) objectives, (2) pretest, (3) learning environment, and (4) posttest. It is stated that each of the modules can be used in a variety of health occupational career paths, ladders, and lattices. (RC) |
