Abstract	The data in this report on associate degrees and completions of occupational curricula and other programs below the baccalaureate level were collected from 1,404 two- and four-year institutions (100 percent response) through part C of the annual Higher Education General Information Survey, Degrees and Other Formal Awards Conferred Between July 1, 1971, and June 30, 1972. Included in this publication are summary data, as well as data for individual institutions on associate degrees and other awards in the following areas: (1) arts and science or general programs not organized as occupational curricula; (2) science-related or engineering-related organized occupational curricula at the technical or semiprofessional level, divided by subject field designation; (3) nonscience-related and nonengineering-related organized occupational curricula at the technical or semiprofessional level, divided by subject field designation; (4) organized occupational curricula below the technical or semiprofessional level. Data are variously organized into voluminous tables by control and level of institution, type and length of curriculum, type of credit and award, sex of student, and state. (Author/NHM)
