| Abstract | This booklet is the correlated script for a 48-frame color filmstrip designed to expand the environmental experiences of urban school children and their teachers. Included throughout the script are related projects that encourage discovery activities inside and out of the classroom. Based upon the knowledge that over 75 percent of all United States school children live in an urban environment, the developers of this filmstrip feel that it is very important that these children learn about their natural surroundings. As future decision makers, they need to know more about the ecological relationships that exist in nature. Some of the more common relationships are illustrated and explained in the filmstrip. (MA) |
