Abstract | PATTERNS are a series of seminars intended to study questions and problems of interest to both community/junior colleges and the Rochester Institute of Technology. These proceedings are the second in the PATTERNS series. This seminar focused on particular aspects of state versus local control and/or coordination of higher education as it affects the public and private two-year colleges in New York State. These proceedings contain the following: Acknowledgments; Introduction; Program; Addresses--"Trends and Implications; State Control Versus Coordination of Higher Education" by Robert D. Cahow, and "Trends and Implications; State Control Versus Coordination of Higher Education" by William G. Dwyer; Reactions by Fr. S. Theodore Berg and Alfred M. Hallenbeck; and a bibliography. (DB) |
