| Abstract | Designed to familiarize the student with the components and operations of automatic gas and electric dryers, this course outlines the principles of drying and how they relate to the automatic dryer. Instruction centers upon the functions and operations of dryer components and the recognition and identification of various component malfunctions, providing students with the opportunity to overhaul and repair dryer components. Included in the course content are goals, specific block objectives, orientation, automatic dryers (construction, principles of drying, installation), dryer component functions and operations, component malfunctions, overhaul and repair, a post-test, and a bibliography.
