Abstract | This study, conducted in response to the requirements of Wisconsin's State Advisory Council for Vocational Education as delineated in the Vocational Amendments of 1968, focuses specifically on the impact of Federal vocational education funds on State health occupations education programs. The six chapters deal respectively with: (1) the identification and description of State organizations and agencies concerned with health delivery services and health manpower, (2) health manpower data, including employment projections, (3) a rural health survey in Barron County, (4) programmatic efforts in health occupations, (5) a discussion of these activities at the secondary level, and (6) professional development concerns. Recommendations of the advisory council are included. Numerous tables and maps present the data. (AG) |
