Abstract	Topics discussed at this conference concerned with education for the rural poor were: (1) "The Community College and the Rural Poor," (2) "The Rural Low Income Student--What a Small College Can Do to Get Them Into School and Keep Them There," (3) "The New Iron Ore Industry Worker Needs New Schools and New Programs to Keep Marketable," (4) "The Farm Bureau and Education," (5) "It Is the College, Not the Student, That Is Disadvantaged," and (6) "The Young--Catalysts for an Educational and Rural Renaissance?" Some of the conclusions dealt with the importance of understanding minority problems, the need for more financial support, and new programs in industry and agriculture for rural youth. (RN)
