| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine how public post secondary vocational education in Nebraska should be organized, financed, coordinated, and administered. The procedure included a review of the literature, development of a list of principles and guidelines in questionnaire form, referral of the questionnaire to a jury of experts, and comparison of the evaluations of the jury with current practices in Nebraska. The study concludes that vocational education is primarily the State's responsibility, requiring a master plan and a strong advisory group. Local advisory groups are recommended for each program offered in the area centers which are needed throughout the state. (Author/BH) |
