Abstract | Intended to meet a widespread demand among teachers and administrators for coordination among the various modern language offerings in the Fairfax County school system, this publication serves as a guide for the articulation of a sequential language program reflecting recent developments in the goals, content, materials, and methods of modern language instruction. A general discussion of culture and methodology precedes a summary of activities in level 1 through level 5 and advanced courses. Appendixes contain outlines of topics for cultural content for French, German, Russian, and Spanish courses. [Not available in hard copy due to marginal legibility of original document.] (RL) |
